I took these pictures of Niko a couple of days ago and can't believe how much he's changed already at just 3 weeks.

A little phototherapy makes me glow

Niko's jaundice has been lingering a little longer than it should, so we've been doing some at-home phototherapy. He has a wraparound blanket with fiber optic lights, and he glows blue like a little glowworm when it's turned on.

Getting to know each other

Here are Lola and Niko's first official pictures together--it looks like they're getting along great. Lola is very protective of him and it seems like she understands that he's here to stay.

Round 2-back at the hospital

On Saturday, we brought Niko home from the hospital a little bit jaundiced and were told to bring him back Sunday to check his levels. Unfortunately when we came back Sunday, his jaundice was worse, so we had to readmit him--hopefully Monday is the day we're home for good. Here are some pictures from his first day out--no pictures yet with Lola though, who is handling all this pretty well. She is very curious about him and cries when he cries.

Niko arrived June 5 at 5:17 pm, and was 5 lbs 11oz, 19 inches. He has a full set of hair and looks a lot like his father! Here are some of his first pictures, with many more to follow!
